Our Position
Our Purpose
FBC maintains a strong heartbeat for souls through its missionary outreach around the world. The burden for home
and foreign missions continues to grow through our annual "Faith Promise" plan which has contributed to the 23
families now supported prayerfully and financially by our church family. Each year, it is our desire to enlarge our
boarders and enlighten our brethren to a global vision in our efforts to win people to Christ. Jesus said, "go ye into all
the world and preach the gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15). The great commission of Christ is the great mission
of our church. FBC is committed to the following...
* Winning lost souls to Christ as Saviour (Proverbs 11:30; Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 16:15; Luke 19:10).
- Outreach Opportunities: Tuesday evenings (6:30PM) and Saturday mornings (10:00AM) are our corporate times for
outreach to families and homes in our community. Everyone can visit someone, and all are encouraged to do so.

* Discipling believers toward Christlikeness (Luke 9:23).
- Discipleship Classes: In addition to one-on-one discipleship that occurs at FBC, Pastor and Mrs. Hubers teach a 22
week course from January to June each year. Classes are held on Tuesday evenings from 7:00PM to 9:00PM. Each
year over 30 disciples are taught with Pastor teaching the men and Mrs. Hubers teaching the women.

* Equipping "faithful men to teach others" and to "do the work of the ministry" (II Timothy 2:1-2; Ephesians 4:11-16).

* Adding believers to the local church (Acts 2:42-47): It is our goal to train believers within the local church to become
obedient, active, growing, and caring members who love Christ and one another (Matthew 22:37; II Peter 3:18).

* Getting the gospel out to the uttermost parts of the world by way of prayer, giving, and going of missionaries
(Matthew 9:36-38; John 4:24-25; Acts 1:8).

"Where there is no vision, the people perish" (Proverbs 29:18) Let us "lift up our eyes, and look on the fields, for they
are white already to harvest" (John 4:24-25).
